The whole process of installing a Magento 2 theme in StoreFrame Hub will be pretty much the same in any case. Which means that we can lean on the current infrastructure of our platform and then build it out to more theme integrations. We have build our theme installation in a way that it is as universal as possible.

Which Magento 2 themes do we currently support
Right now we integrate with the Luma Theme and the StoreFrame Theme in StoreFrame Hub. I will explain more about the features, pros, cons and the comparison between the two themes further down this article. First, I want to focus on the installation process for Magento 2 themes.

You can set a checkbox for the sample data, wether you want to have this added to the theme installation package or not. This is optional.
What you should choose in terms of sample data is very much depending on the use case and how you like the work. For some people, it is just "nice" to have some example data. So the store doesn't look disserted and you have some examples to built on top of.
Our future vision on sample data
In the future, we expect StoreFrame Hub to have multiple sample data options.
For example, if we find a way to offer high-quality sample data for the top 5-10 ecommerce markets to our users. Including some of the more complicated types, that work with configurable products, bundle products and so on. That could potentially save loads of effort, time and budget.

How to choose the best Magento 2 Theme?

Magento 2 Luma Theme
The Luma Theme is a free Magento 2 theme that was created by the Magento team. It is a very versatile theme that can be used for any type of store. It is also fully responsive, which means that it will look great on all devices.
The downside to the Luma theme is that it does not include any built-in features or templates. However, this can be overcome by using one of the many Magento 2 extensions that are available.
The Luma Theme is a great theme to start with, but it will still need a lot of work before you have a feature-rich Magento 2 store.
Magento 2 StoreFrame Theme
The StoreFrame Theme is a free Magento 2 theme that was created by the StoreFrame team. It is built over the years and consist of a Luma base, with a big collection of improvements, custom features, integrated and tested modules and more.
