Stage slots

A Stage slot costs €10 per month and covers one staging, develop, or test environment under a Project.

A Stage slot costs €10 per month. Each Stage slot covers one additional environment — staging, develop, or test — running under an existing Project. Stages share the same Project but provision their own containerized Magento stack on your BYOK infrastructure.

Stage environment types

Three environment types qualify as Stage slots:

Each is a full Magento 2 containerized stack — the same as your production environment, billed at €10/month instead of €50/month. You can have multiple Stage environments of any type under a single Project.

What the €10 covers

The €10/month management fee covers the same services as a Project slot but for a Stage environment:

Full Magento 2 containerized stack on your BYOK infrastructure
SSH access and container management
Automatic SSL certificate on the *.storeframe.store subdomain
Environment monitoring and log streaming
HTTP authentication enabled by default (keeps dev environments private)

Cloud server costs are separate and paid directly to your provider.

Common Stage patterns

A typical agency running 5 Projects each with a staging Stage would pay €50 × 5 (Projects) + €10 × 5 (Stages) = €300/month in StoreFrame fees.

Adding a Stage mid-month

When you provision a new Stage environment, a Stage slot is added to your subscription immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days of the billing month (minimum €1). The full €10/month charge appears on your next monthly invoice.

Example: Add a staging Stage on the 20th of a 31-day month. Days remaining: 11. Prorated charge: €10 × 11/31 = €3.55. Then €10 on the 1st of the following month.

If your organization already has available Stage slots, the new environment provisions without any charge — it uses a slot you have already purchased.

Removing a Stage

A paid slot stays available until the end of the current billing period. Slots with no environment when the period ends are not billed for the next one.

There is no credit for removing an environment mid-period.

Stages vs. the production environment

The production environment included with your Project slot and Stage environments are distinct billing items. Deleting the production environment does not remove the Project slot or any Stage slots. Similarly, deleting all Stage environments has no effect on the Project slot.
