/rewind
Roll code changes and conversation history back to an earlier checkpoint.
/rewind undoes recent work in the current session. It rolls both Claude's code edits and the conversation history back to an earlier checkpoint, so you can try a different approach without manually reverting files.
What gets restored
Checkpoints cover files Claude edited in this session, plus the messages around that work. /rewind does not restore arbitrary system state — Magento caches, database writes, indexer runs, and other side effects stay as they are.
Session-local only
Checkpoints exist only inside the current session. /rewind cannot restore work from another conversation. To come back to a different conversation later, use /resume.
If you only need a clean chat and are fine leaving the files as they are, use /clear instead.
