Before you start
From sign-up to a running Magento trial environment in about 30 minutes. No credit card or cloud account required.
Get a working Magento environment on StoreFrame in about 30 minutes — most of it spent waiting on the provision. No credit card, no cloud account, no provider key needed for the trial.
- Create your account — Sign up, verify your email, and set up two-factor authentication.
- Start a trial — Click + New environment in the Hub and pick Trial. StoreFrame provisions a Magento VM on our infrastructure. The trial runs for 3 days.
- Connect Claude Code — Open Claude Code inside the new environment to start debugging, deploying, or just exploring.
- Convert to a paid Project (when you're ready) — Before the trial ends, bring a cloud-provider API token, subscribe, and StoreFrame redeploys your work onto your own cloud account.
Before you start
You'll need:
- A StoreFrame account
- ~15 minutes of active time (the provision runs ~30 minutes in the background)
You do NOT need:
- A Magento license — StoreFrame provisions Magento Open Source by default
- A cloud provider account — trial runs on StoreFrame's own infrastructure
- A credit card — billing only starts when you subscribe to a Project
What you'll have at the end
A running Magento storefront on a StoreFrame trial VM, accessible via:
- A browser URL for the storefront and Magento admin
- Claude Code from the Hub console for day-to-day work
- SSH access to the VM as the
appuser, with sudo for administrative tasks. See users and SSH
After the trial
The trial lasts 3 days. At day 3, the environment is destroyed automatically unless you've subscribed. Subscribing converts the trial into a paid Project on your own cloud account — see pick your provider for the BYOK setup, and billing trials for the conversion mechanics.
