Live log streams
Three live log streams per environment — system, platform, and container — streamed over WebSocket via the helio agent.
The Logs tab streams log output from your environment in real time. Three tabs are available:
- System OS-level log files from
/var/log/on the host (syslog, auth, kern, etc.). - Platform Magento application logs from
/var/www/<instance>/application/var/log/(exception.log, system.log, cron.log, etc.). - Container Docker container stdout from every service in your stack (nginx, php, mariadb, redis, and others).
All three streams arrive over a single persistent WebSocket connection from the platform agent on your environment's VM. No polling — the Hub receives each log line as it is written.
How the UI is laid out
Each tab shares the same layout:
- Source select a dropdown listing every log source seen on this environment (e.g.
exception.log,system.logfor Platform;nginx, phpfor Container). Switching sources reloads the table for that source only. - Status filter capsule buttons to narrow entries to Info, Warning, Error, or Debug. Defaults to All.
- Log table rows with Date, Time, Log message, and Status badge. Paginated. Sortable by Date, Time, and Status.
When you first open the tab, the Hub replays the last 20 log entries per source from its in-memory buffer so you always see recent context, even if the environment was already streaming before you opened the page.
