Every Service Runs in Its Own Container
Every Service Runs in Its Own Container
Each Magento environment runs every service in its own isolated Docker container, with minimal capabilities, read-only root filesystems, and dedicated networks. No shared tenancy.

The Full Stack
The Full Stack
Every service — and every CLI tool — runs in its own Docker container, auto-tuned to your server's RAM and vCPU at provision. See the full stack docs.
OpenResty
Our nginx flavour with embedded Lua running the full security stack, Brotli, and HTTP/3 at the edge.
Helio
StoreFrame's lightweight Go agent, streaming logs, metrics, and security telemetry to your dashboard and running jobs back.
PHP-FPM
Traditional PHP FastCGI process manager with OPcache preconfigured and worker counts auto-sized to your server.
FrankenPHP*
Caddy-embedded PHP application server with worker mode and HTTP/3 — the modern alternative to classic FPM.
MariaDB
MySQL-compatible relational database with tunable performance flags, memory sized to your server, and daily encrypted backups.
MySQL*
The relational database Magento certifies against — a drop-in alternative to MariaDB with the same tuning and daily encrypted backups.
RabbitMQ
AMQP message broker running asynchronous Magento jobs — cron execution, catalog indexing, and bulk import queues.
OpenSearch
Full-text catalog search engine, an Elasticsearch fork with configurable Java heap and no license restrictions.
Elasticsearch*
Elastic's full-text search engine — the upstream OpenSearch forked from, available when a store standardises on the Elastic stack.
Varnish
HTTP accelerator with ESI support, Magento-aware cache rules, and config reloads that keep the cache warm.
Redis
Three Redis roles, for application cache, page cache, and sessions, running fully in memory with eviction tuned per role.
code-server
Browser-based VS Code on the environment itself, with full file and terminal access and nothing to install.
CrowdSec
Collaborative intrusion prevention parsing the edge logs to block credential stuffing, aggressive crawlers, and scanners.
Node.js
JavaScript runtime for storefront builds — Hyvä and Tailwind compilation, RequireJS bundling, and deploy-time steps.
phpMyAdmin
Web UI for the MariaDB database to browse tables, run SQL, and inspect or export data from the browser.
Mailpit
Captures every email the store sends into a web inbox, so staging mail never reaches real customers.
* Alternative configuration — one per environment.
Built by StoreFrame
Built by StoreFrame
Most of the stack is best-in-class open source, auto-tuned to your server. A few layers we build and maintain ourselves — because nothing off the shelf fit how StoreFrame operates.

Our OpenResty Flavour
The edge isn't stock nginx. LuaJIT runs the entire security layer inside the web server process — proof-of-work bot challenges, rate limiting, and community threat intelligence — alongside Brotli compression, HTTP/3, GeoIP2, and automatic TLS renewal. Microseconds of overhead, not a separate WAF hop.
Helio — the Server Agent
A single ~12 MB Go agent on every environment streams logs, metrics, container stats, and security telemetry to your StoreFrame dashboard over one connection — and runs maintenance jobs sent back to it. It replaces a separate log shipper, metrics collector, and auto-updater with one lightweight process.
Developer Tooling
Developer Tooling
Every PHP image ships with the day-to-day CLI tooling baked in — invoked as host commands that run inside the container.
Composer
PHP dependency manager — installs and updates Magento modules and their requirements.
Deployer
Zero-downtime deployments — atomic release switching with one-command rollback.
n98-magerun2
Magento CLI multitool — cache, indexer, admin, and database operations from the shell.
msmtp
Outbound SMTP relay wired into PHP's sendmail path for transactional mail.
